Online Application Forms are invited for preparing the State Merit List for conducting the Counselling for admission in different branches of B.E./B.Tech. Course of Engineering Institutes of Jharkhand State (List of Engineering Institutes for academic year-2023-24 is uploaded on the Board's website) from candidates who have been ranked in JEE (Main) – 2023 & fulfilling the following eligibility criteria:-

1. Educational Criteria:- The Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics/Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Tech./ Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture /Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. (Any of the three) & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together (As per AICTE Approval Process HandBook 2023-24).
2. Residential Criteria:- The Candidate must be a citizen of India and Local/Permanent resident of Jharkhand. The "Local Resident of Jharkhand" has been defined & identified in 7/Aa. Niti (Sarvdaliaye Baithak) 27/2002 (Khand)ka.-3198/, dated 18.04.2016 of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasa Department, Govt. of Jharkhand. A candidate should have a Local Resident Certificate in proper format, issued by competent authority [Circle Officer or Sub Divisional Officer – (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State].  The Residential Certificate issued by any other authority and in other than prescribed format will not be entertained and his/her claim will be rejected.
